At Kevin Manners Denture Clinics, we produce a range of different denture types to suit all budgets.
Brand new dentures can provide you with a great set of replacement teeth that leave you feeling confident in your smile, your speech and your ability to chew food properly. Depending on the dentures you need, the costs will vary.
If you’ve started to lose teeth you may be considering dentures but we understand that it can be a significant investment to make, especially if you only need to replace one tooth right now. Single tooth dentures are a great place to start but some people are keen to wait until they have lost more teeth until they invest in a full or partial denture.
We recommend that you get new dentures at least every 5 years but if your dentures don’t fit right you should get them changed much sooner to avoid long-term problems with your gums and oral health.
Depending on why you need a denture repair, you may be able to wait a few days for an appointment or use a denture repair kit to temporarily fix your dentures until you can visit a professional.
Even when you have replaced your natural teeth with full or partial dentures, you will still need to have a professional dental check-up for similar reasons to when you had your natural teeth. Checkups are an essential part of ensuring your mouth stays healthy and can prevent small issues from become bigger
Dentures are the perfect way for those with tooth loss to fill the gaps in their smile and maintain the ability to chew and speak properly. You should replace your dentures with new ones
Acrylic dentures are made using a plastic that is easy to mould but sets very rigidly which makes them a popular choice for many denture wearers
Since denture implants (aka implant retained dentures) are highly durable, natural looking and well secured, they are becoming a popular alternative to traditional dentures.
But there is still some confusion about exactly how denture implants work and what the requirements are to get them.
At Kevin Manners Denture Clinics, our Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) George Manners, is often the first face that many patients meet throughout their denture journey. So what does a CDT like George do?
