Alongside our usual denture repair service given at our clinics, we will also do a home collection service for those self-isolating.
We are currently offering a home collection emergency denture repairs service from all areas surrounding each of our four clinics (in Nottingham, Newark, Mansfield and Radcliffe on Trent).
Please call 07801 854177 if you require emergency repairs to your dentures. Contact us to discuss options and timescales for the repair of your broken or damaged dentures.
There is a possibility your denture is no longer suitable for purpose due to changes in your mouth. Poorly fitting dentures may also cause damage to hard and soft oral tissues and could well lead to the increased risk of denture fracture. You should always get an expert to examine the dentures before repairing them as issues with your dentures could lead to significant problems in the future.
If your dentures get damaged, you may be able to use a denture repair kit to temporarily fix your dentures until you are able to visit a professional. Please note that this should only be a temporary measure as broken dentures may be a sign that your existing dentures are no longer suitable for your mouth so a denture consultation should be carried out as soon as possible.
Your dentures should be checked on an annual basis as this not only ensures optimum comfort and fit but it is also a chance to check your oral health and check for any changes in your mouth, including your gums and tongue.
Dentures usually need to be relined every 3-5 years, or as necessary when your gums or mouth change and your current dentures start to become loose.
Appointments are available at all of our clinics – on two days throughout the week – and we are always happy to book a check-up appointment for you. You must schedule these appointments to maintain your overall oral health and to check the fit of your dentures.
Contact the clinics and bring your broken or damaged denture to us at our Nottingham clinic on Castle Boulevard, during our normal business hours, or contact us on 0115 941 7052 if you have any questions before bringing it in.
Alternatively, if our Newark or Mansfield clinics are more convenient for you, please contact us beforehand to discuss options and times for your repair.
