Since denture implants (aka implant retained dentures) are highly durable, natural looking and well secured, they are becoming a popular alternative to traditional dentures.
But there is still some confusion about exactly how denture implants work and what the requirements are to get them.

Implant retained dentures (aka denture implants) are dentures that are supported by titanium metal rods attached to the jaw bone. These implants are permanent and can be used to support full, partial and single tooth dentures.

For those denture wearers with a full set of dentures, visiting a dentist or Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) may seem unnecessary. However, it is just as important that you visit a dental care professional now as it was when you had all of your own natural teeth.
In a survey conducted by Simply Teeth most people (28%) said that if they could change one thing about their teeth it would be to have whiter teeth and 14% said that they wanted straighter teeth. Only 10% said that they wouldn’t change anything.
